Role Overview
- We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer that impacts Verto by driving active development, designing robust RESTful APIs, and building highly scalable web applications and cloud services.
- The work directly contributes to the company's system architecture and fosters innovation through prototyping new ideas.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Engaging in active development assignments
- Designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Collaborating with a team to develop and test highly scalable web applications and services
- Contributing to the overall system architecture
- Prototyping and implementing new ideas
- Leveraging modern AI tools and software engineering assistants efficiently to accelerate development workflows, maximize code quality, and optimize day-to-day productivity.
What You Need
- 4+ years of professional experience in object-oriented languages
- Significant experience with NodeJS
- Knowledge of modern web application building libraries like Angular
- Working knowledge of developing scalable distributed cloud applications on AWS or other cloud platforms
- Strong skills in MySQL and relational databases
- An AI-driven approach to software engineering, featuring a strong understanding of tokenization, prompt optimization, and how to unlock the full potential of various developer-focused AI models without wasting context windows or tokens.
- Clear communication and articulation skills.
Best If You Have:
- Experience with the MEAN/MERN stack
- Experience with fintech industry
- Worked in an early stage or growing stage start-up
- Majority experience with product-based companies
- Awareness of modern trends in distributed software application development
- Experience with various development tools, including AWS Codebuild, git, npm, Visual Studio Code, Serverless framework, Swagger Specs, Angular, Flutter, AWS Lambda, MongoDB, Redis, SQS, and Kafka.
