Job Summary
- As we continue to grow, we are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waitresses to join our team.
- The Waitress will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring customers enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
- The ideal candidate should be courteous, professional, well-presented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Welcome customers warmly and assist them in finding suitable seating.
- Present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when necessary.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages professionally and courteously.
- Regularly check on customers to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and service.
- Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when necessary.
Dining Area Operations:
- Prepare dining tables before opening and reset them after customers leave.
- Ensure tables, chairs, and dining areas remain clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Clear used dishes, glasses, and cutlery promptly.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the service station and dining environment.
Order & Payment Management:
- Ensure customer orders are served accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process customer bills and payments accurately using the POS system when required.
- Maintain proper records of orders and transactions.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain efficient operations.
- Support management in achieving customer satisfaction and daily sales targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE; OND is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a waitress, or customer service personnel in a restaurant, eatery, café, or hospitality establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented personality.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
- Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must reside in Ikorodu or nearby areas.
