Job Title: Waitress 

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Job Summary

• As we continue to grow, we are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waitresses to join our team.
• The Waitress will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring customers enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
• The ideal candidate should be courteous, professional, well-presented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them in finding suitable seating.
• Present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when necessary.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen.
• Serve meals and beverages professionally and courteously.
• Regularly check on customers to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and service.
• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when necessary.

Dining Area Operations:

• Prepare dining tables before opening and reset them after customers leave.
• Ensure tables, chairs, and dining areas remain clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Clear used dishes, glasses, and cutlery promptly.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the service station and dining environment.

Order & Payment Management:

• Ensure customer orders are served accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately using the POS system when required.
• Maintain proper records of orders and transactions.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain efficient operations.
• Support management in achieving customer satisfaction and daily sales targets.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE; OND is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a waitress, or customer service personnel in a restaurant, eatery, café, or hospitality establishment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented personality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must reside in Ikorodu or nearby areas.
