Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Sales Clerk

About the Role
- We are seeking a reliable, customer-oriented, and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will support daily retail pharmacy operations, assist customers, and ensure smooth stock management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing non-prescription medications and healthcare products under supervision.
- Attend to patients and customers politely, answering basic inquiries regarding products.
- Receive, unpack, and arrange incoming stock on shelves neatly.
- Monitor stock levels, track product expiration dates, and report low inventory.
- Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with basic health and safety standards.
- Handle basic point-of-sale transactions and keep daily sales records.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE / WASSCE qualification. OND or HND in a related field is an added advantage.
- Experience: Prior work experience working in a retail pharmacy or chemist store is required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of common over-the-counter (OTC) medications.
- High level of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Proximity to the hospital is an added advantage.
