Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Sales Clerk

Location: Uromi, Edo

About the Role

• We are seeking a reliable, customer-oriented, and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will support daily retail pharmacy operations, assist customers, and ensure smooth stock management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing non-prescription medications and healthcare products under supervision.
• Attend to patients and customers politely, answering basic inquiries regarding products.
• Receive, unpack, and arrange incoming stock on shelves neatly.
• Monitor stock levels, track product expiration dates, and report low inventory.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with basic health and safety standards.
• Handle basic point-of-sale transactions and keep daily sales records.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / WASSCE qualification. OND or HND in a related field is an added advantage.
• Experience: Prior work experience working in a retail pharmacy or chemist store is required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of common over-the-counter (OTC) medications.
• High level of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Proximity to the hospital is an added advantage.
