Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR operations across Visco Group of Companies Limited.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, training, and overall workforce planning.
  • This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for all company vacancies.
  • Develop strategies to attract, assess, and retain qualified candidates.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation of new employees.

HR Administration & Policy Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws and industry regulations.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and coordinate performance appraisal systems.
  • Support department heads in setting KPIs and tracking employee performance.
  • Recommend performance improvement plans where necessary.

Employee Relations:

  • Resolve workplace conflicts in a fair and professional manner.
  • Promote a positive work environment and strong employee engagement.
  • Conduct investigations on disciplinary matters and issue queries when needed.

Payroll & Compensation Support:

  • Collaborate with the Accounts department to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and HR-related information.

Training & Development:

  • Identify staff training needs and facilitate meaningful learning programs.
  • Support continuous professional development initiatives.

Compliance, Health & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with labour standards, company regulations, and safety policies.
  • Maintain HR risk assessments and support health and safety initiatives.

Reporting & Management Support:

  • Prepare and present HR reports to management as required.
  • Advise leadership on HR strategies, workforce planning, and organizational improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in HR management or a senior HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
