Job Title: Driver

Job Summary
- We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Driver to provide reliable transportation services for staff, goods, or company operations.
- The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain assigned vehicles in good working condition, and adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company transportation policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport staff, goods, materials, or company assets to designated locations.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery while following assigned schedules and routes.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicle at all times.
- Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tire pressure, and other vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance issues promptly to management.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Ensure all vehicle documents including license, insurance, and registration are valid and up to date.
- Plan routes effectively to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure efficiency.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and proper conduct while representing the company.
Requirements
- Minimum of an SSCE/OND qualification or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- 2 - 5 years proven experience as a professional driver.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Familiarity with local routes, highways, and navigation within assigned locations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
- Physically fit and able to handle long-distance driving when necessary.
