Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a senior management team. The role will have a specific responsibility for the accounts / finance / budgeting functions of this hotel and the role will report in to the General Manager.

The ideal candidate will have been working within a hotel accounts environment and have good working knowledge of hotel accounting systems as well as Microsoft Office products including Excel.

Duties:

• The role of the Finance Manager will be responsible for the smooth operation of the financial controls within the hotel, the preparation of the monthly management accounts and key performance indicator reports as well as Revenue management processes in conjunction with the hotel sales & reservations teams.
• The Finance Manager shall control all revenue and expenses, as well as hotel inventories. His or her mission shall principally be to keep the hotel’s accounts. The financial responsibilities both internal controls as well as external expenditure must be properly recorded and handled through high integrity and honesty. All financial related matter must be kept in accordance to internal and external regulation of the hotel and relevant authority respectively.
• Responsible for the day to day organisation, control, and management of the finance functions in the hotel. Ensuring the efficient running of the purchase and sales ledgers, and cash reconciliation and banking processes.
• The Finance Manager is responsible for the day-by-day-operation of the accounts department. His/her main scope includes administering accounting policies and procedures, preparing and interpreting financial statements and management reports, assisting in budgetary control and all contractual matters in different areas.
