University Librarian at Federal University, Wukari

The Federal University Wukari, Taraba State is one of the nine newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacancy below:

Qualification

• Candidates should possess at least a Masters degree in Library Science (MLS) from a recognized university with at least fifteen (15) years cognate experience with evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals.
• Membership of the Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) as well as the Nigerian Library Association (NLA) is also required.
• The applicant must be of the rank of at least Deputy Librarian and must have a minimum of twelve (12) years post professional qualification/cognate experience, seven (7) years of which must have been spent in a University or similar institution.

• Names and addresses of three Referees/References.

1. Candidates should forward their applications in an envelope with the position applied for clearly indicated on the left-hand corner.
