Save the Children is looking for experienced development professionals to work within the Nigeria Country in the below position:

Job Title: Newborn Health Advisor

Locations: Kogi and Ebonyi

Job Description

• The overall aim of the position is to provide technical leadership for the implementation of the newborn health component of the Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP)at the state level.

Qualifications

• S/he should have a minimum of medical qualification (MD or M.B.B.S.) with a post graduate qualification in paediatrics/ Midwife with Masters in public health with substantial experience in clinical, and in providing technical support to partners and in particular government;
• Demonstrated capacity to develop a network of contacts with key players from government, international agencies and NGOs
• Experience in health systems development and primary health care management.
• Technical expertise in newborn health.
