Job Title: Senior Developer (Spring Framework)

Location: Lagos
Reporting Line: Head of IS Projects

Responsibilities

• Advanced expertise in Java Spring framework with 7years experience is absolutely required for this role with knowledge of the following:

1. EMS
2. Business Works
3. ADB Adapter
4. Hands on experience with XML technologies
5. Experience with implementing web services using Java spring framework
6. Knowledge and experience with RDBMSs (Oracle or MS SQL Server).
7. Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications and services using Spring framework

• Prior experience with exposing and integrating with web services is needed.
• Strong background in working with groups and requirements from different units
• Experience in SOA, PLSQL, Oracle RDBMS Systems, Billing,Linux, UNIX,, JAVA and other languages an advantage
• Ability and willingness to meet tight deadlines to complete critical projects
• Ability to develop codes using Java Spring Framework that can run as services and interface with platforms from Ericsson, Alcatel, RIM, Oracle, etc
• Ability to understand and integrate technologies and solutions already deployed by other Vendors
• Experience in large scale enterprise applications for business environments and familiarity with Middleware and integration products in telecomms environment
• Software development and testing experience an advantage
• Good understanding of complex computer network systems (both hardware and software.

Contacts:

• Under the supervision of the Unit Head you will be required to liaise and interface with other groups/departments typically involved in the Technical Management of projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Senior Spring framework experience with strong development integration experience for 7+ years is a MUST
• Experience in Telecomms environment is an added advantage
• First degree in a relevant field especially computer science/engineering or electronic/electrical engineering
• Advanced training and knowledge in Java Spring.
