A leading Oil & Gas Service company, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manager, Human Resources

Location: Nigeria

Job Objectives

To plan, direct and review the activities and strategies of the Company’s Human Resources Department including recruitment and selection, employee relations, training, compensation and benefits administration; to provide highly responsible workforce that will deliver the Company’s strategies objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Lead/initiate new and innovative global HR practices to create a strong culture of leadership and high performing teams
Support managers to performance manage their staff, ensuring that assessment of performance is objective and poor performance is addressed appropriately
Manage performance of roles reporting to this function to ensure that staffs reach their potential and provide effective service to the Company
Manage partnerships and vendors for outsourced services
Develop and control budgets for the unit and assigned projects
Ensure the delivery of best practice Talent Management practices across the organization
Define and maintain a competitive and merit based compensation system to support the Company’s corporate strategy
Drive strategic and operational level HR-planning including Labor Relations, Recruiting & Staffing, Compensation & Benefits, Leadership Coaching, Employee Development and Performance Management
Support Management decisions with appropriate communication tools and systems to ensure effective flow of information including employee opinions surveys, leadership communication etc.
Manage appropriately all legal cases relating to Human Resources, Working in collaboration with the company’s legal counsel
Perform any other responsibility as may be required by management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Sciences or any other relevant discipline
An MBA or a Master’s degree or HR professional certification will be an added advantage
