Responsibilities:
The Operations Readiness (OR) Lead for Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) and Lessons Learnt (LL),will support the full portfolio of Deepwater projects. The prime purpose of the role is to coordinate the Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) program on the DW Projects to meet the requirements of company project standards. In addition he/she will manage and keep up to date the deepwater projects lessons learned database and follow-up actions to ensure implementation in facilities design,construction,commissioning and start-up.
In oparticular,he/she will be:
- Responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of FPD for the overall project by all Contractors for all project execution phases from Preparation through Contract Award to completion of the Work.
- Responsible for establishing the FPD Workshop and presentation program.
- Responsible for reviewing intermediate and final key performance indicators (KPIs') produced by the Contractors,and for ensuring that the nominated KPI’s are tracked and met. In the event that intermediate KPI’s are not met,this OR Lead will be responsible for taking pre-defined action to rectify deficiencies.
- Responsible for designing methods to ensure compliance with FPD requirements and executing overall Quality audit/health-check plans
- Will be required to establish and co-ordinate a project wide,multi-discipline FPD team to meet the Project FPD requirements.
- Responsible for identifying resource requirements for Quality activities to the Project Commissioning Manager,together with documentation and information requirements.
- Will be required to provide work instructions to improve work practices,procedures and engineering change,related to FPD as required.
- Responsible for ensuring that FPD progress measurement is set up across the Project and producing regular status reports of the same
- Will be required to guide both Company and EPC Contractor personnel on FPD related issues throughout all phases of the Project.
- Responsible for all publicity related to FPD matters across the Project.
The current SNEPCO deepwater projects portfolio includes large deepwater projects,as well as several brown-field projects supporting currently operating assets.
Requirements:
- Minimum degree in engineering or equivelant with at least 12 - 15 years experience in upstream operations and maintenance with emphasis on offshore & subsea systems.
- Good general understandings of project procedures and requirements, construction build and testing requirements, plant inspection and turnover experience, commissioning and start-up procedures.
- Good general understanding of process systems.
- Ability to deal with multiple, often conflicting, goals and priorities
- Demonstrated effectiveness in driving change.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills – able to influence and develop relationships across disciplines and culture, be comfortable coaching and motivating others, and delivering through others.
- Familiar with project development challenges in Nigeria or in other regions with similar challenges.
- Values and is open to listening to stakeholders perspectives, maintain composure under pressure while providing clear and decisive leadership.
