Job Title: Commercial/Company Secretarial Practice

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Highly organised, with significant experience In maintaining statutory books as well as managing and taking minutes of board meetings and general meetings of blue chip companies.
• First rate understanding of company law, and exceptional familiarity with the legal aspects of doing business in Nigeria.
• Capacity for wide ranging corporate and commercial matters. Including drafting, reviewing and negotiation of customary commercial contracts.
• Excellent client facing skills. with confidence to represent the Firm and help maintain the high quality level of service offered to its clients.
• Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the clients.

Requirements
The ideal candidates are expected to meet the following requirement

• At least 7 years post qualification relevant experience.
• Robust experience (either from a relevant industry or a reputable law firm),
• Strong academic background (at least a 2.1, either at LLB or BL).
• Superior drafting and communication skills.
• Hardworking, with ability to work with minimal supervision, and comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Innovative, open-minded and commercially aware.
• High sense of logic and developed capacity for lateral thinking.
• Team player with a client focused approach.
• Enthusiastic about business development
