A leading Independent oil exploration and production company in Nigeria requires the services of experienced and dynamic candidates for the position below:

Job Description

• The Production Supervisor must have good knowledge of Operational and Technical Practices In an E&P Company He is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of offshore /swamp production engineering and operations, Well test, meter proving, optimization field production and production forecasting.
• The candidate must be able to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, work In a team environment, and be able to effectively communicate within and outside the company.
• Must have worked at supervisory level in a similar position for at least ten (10) years in a reputable E&P Company

Qualifications and Required Competencies

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a core engineering discipline (Petroleum, Production, Electrical or instrumentation) with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division. A Master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the oil industry with a proven track record of production and operations management.
• In-depth knowledge of Production, Facilities and Well engineering.
• Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to work in a multidisciplinary and multi-tasking teams
• Must have a proven ability to plan, lead projects teams and be able to work under pressure
• Ensure company’s compliance with all regulations from relevant regulatory agencies.
• Must be result oriented and committed to company goals

Minimum Knowledge and Experience:

• Responsible for managing Company Production Operations and installations
• Manage and control the daily activities of Production Operators and Technicians for increase production hydrocarbon
• Monitor and control production installations, facilities, personnel and safety systems to ensure production targets are achieved and sustained in a safe and efficient manner Ensure production losses are minimized to as reasonably practicable
• Supervise Well and Meter tests as well as carry out sampling and analysis of crude constituents
• Ensure efficient and optimal functioning of production plant, equipment and processes
• Provide timely intervention in resolving production outage problems GA-Site
• Liaise with onshore/offshore production support engineers for timely intervention regarding production issues
• Ensure the production plant, processes and equipment are functioning efficiently Ensure efficient and safe working of the Permit to Work system on-site
• Responsible for preparing daily production and operations reports and carry out meter clocking exercises
• Responsible for commissioning new Wells to production and managing field development plans and execution
• Responsible for applying production, operational, engineering and management principles to resolve production problems and optimize hydrocarbon production enhancement opportunities
• Champion the enforcement of standards and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
• Ensure all Production operations are carried out in a timely and safe manner
• Assist and support HSSE teams in ensuring compliance with Company Safety and Security Policies and procedures.
• Prepare daily production and operations reports and well as ensure good quality effluent water dump
