Job Summary
We are searching for an experienced individual who must have experience working with products from the agro-industry, He/she will be commercially involved with clients and potential clients in the desired region.
To excel in this position, you should be energetic, intuitive, and you must also be able to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate sales results.
Job Description
Research and identify new business opportunities for the farm
Execute online and offline marketing initiatives to present and sell company produce to potential clients
Identify and propose potential business deals by contacting potential and existing clients
Communicates new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Engage in market research, track trends and monitor competition.
Develop, establish and maintain strong working relationship with agents, dealers and customers
Represent the organization in trade shows and other external functions (in collaboration with other management staff
Liaise with finance team, store and administrative department when appropriate
Increase sales of the business and carry out sales forecasts and analysis
Drive processes under your supervision
Track and report on sales on a weekly and monthly basis
Develop marketing strategies and new product lines
Develop and update marketing material
Generate and convert leads
Cold call and meetings with prospective customers
Setting KPIs, target and goals for your team
Respond to tenders on behalf of the farm
Supervise team member
Job Qualification
5 years of marketing experience with an agriculture background and/or agriculture sector experience
Proven experience with marketing strategy development and marketing plan development
Proven track record of increasing revenue for previous organization (s)
Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple diverse tasks and deliverables within one or more projects
Business acumen and business development experience
Excellent writing, communication and project management skills
Strong knowledge and experience with various social media tools
Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project Office)
Must have experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment.
Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and organize
Team player who collaborates with ease and contagious creative energy
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
