Livestock Manager (Dairy and Goats) at BrahDali Integrated Farms

BrahDali Integrated Farms is an integrated farm in Eruwa, Oyo State specializing insmall and large ruminants, Goats and Dairy. We have a vision to be the largest west african dwarf goat producer in Nigeria. In addition to this, we are positioned to be a key player in the Nigerian Dairy Value chain, as a consequnece we are projected to be home to 200 cross bred dairy cows by the end of 2022.

The farm is situated on over 150 Hectares in a peaceful peri urban town which boasts of a higher institution of learning and banking facilities. It is approximately 1 hour from Ibadan and right in the heart of the Eruwa town.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Livestock Manager (Dairy and Goats)

Location: Eruwa, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate must be skilled in dairy herd health, feed formulation, pasture and range land establishment, hay and silage production, sound knowledge of forage crops, and must have demonstrable stockman experience.
• Experience with project management, artificial insemination and ruminant reproduction will be an added advantage.
• The responsible person must have excellent writing and reporting skills using modern technologies.
• The candidate should be an experienced Livestock Manager with significant experience in small and large ruminants, Goats and Dairy

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences or related (up to 5 years).
• Up to 5 years experience in ruminant feed production and livestock management.
• Experience in artificial insemination will be an added advantage.
• Qualifications: DVM (2 years experience will be considered).

Remuneration
Salary is commensurate with demonstrable experience.
