A Marketing Executive (Graphic Designer) is a point of contact for all things social, including Online Reputation Management, content, strategy, and the daily upkeep of active social channels.
Responsibilities
What will I be doing?
Create visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing visual images and copy that is reflective of the hotels style and is in keeping with Hilton brand standards and advertising guidelines using computer design software.
Create marketing collateral which gives tangible clues as to the intangible services and products of the hotel, through visual images and copy.
Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services.
Aware of all recent market trends and assess competitors by competitive analysis and positioning. Is constantly aware of new advancements in visual mediums and computer assisted graphics programs; keeping self-abreast of the developments and utilizing developments to their fullest potential.
Is aware of the hotels, country and culture distinct style and maintains established standards of copy and visual images across all mediums and assigned tasks.
Create a clear and defined perception in the mind of both internal and external guests of the hotel through the use of different visual and non-visual mediums.
Execute and coordinate all agreed hotel marketing strategies and monitor on-going marketing campaign performance and reporting as directed by Line Manager
Support the Line Manager by developing and implementing promotional activity, merchandising and collaterals for all hotel departments
Grow and implement social media plans and strategy through research, proper benchmarking, messaging and target audience identification
Leverage on content marketing for daily posts using various formats (original text, images, video or HTML) that will trigger a reaction through post engagements
Manage and optimise all company pages with the aim of increasing the visibility of our products and services
Moderate all user-generated content in line with the Hilton brand standards
Create and submit weekly content schedules
Preparing social media reports using well defined metrics
Study and execute design briefs within or earlier than stipulated deadline
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and in compliance with our brand guidelines
Monitor and support all social media activity and support departmental initiatives
Be a brand champion for the hotels ensuring all collateral conforms to agreed brand standards, using the right tone of voice and that content is compliant with corporate guidelines
Execute and implement appropriate use of marketing content, creative resources, translation and photography while optimising an effective online presence in line with regional strategy
Respond to customer postings as appropriate tackling any complaints and issues
Managing Execution
Develop, maintain and grow hotel databases to promote all hotel disciplines including targeted HHonors campaigns
Execute the hotels’ quarterly audit report on specific initiatives and promotions
Support and assist management of all marketing projects including resources with budget implications
Produce tracking documents and hotel fact sheets including preparing PowerPoint presentations with excellent attention to detail as directed by head of department
Achieve agreed performance goals and marketing objectives of role set out by the cluster Line Manager
Support the Line Manager in executing effective content management across all available channels, social media, mobile marketing and partnership programs
Managing Execution:
Develop, maintain and grow hotel databases to promote all hotel disciplines including targeted HHonors campaigns
Execute the hotels’ quarterly audit report on specific initiatives and promotions
Support and assist management of all marketing projects including resources with budget implications

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
3 - 5 years of experience in branding, marketing or digital media
Very high competence in the use of social media and marketing communication tools
Relevant Degree in either Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, or Busines discipline from an academic institution
