Vraiment Nigeria Limited is an indigenous Agricultural Company that operates an integrated farming system involving crop and animal production, value addition and other aspects of the agricultural value chain.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Seed Processing, Marketing and Warehouse Officer

Location: Funtua, Katsina
Recruitment Type: 1-year renewable Contract

Job Details
The job description of the successful candidate among other things include:

• Supervision of seeds processing plant activities.
• Receipt and processing of incoming seed, fertilizers, and chemical stock/materials.
• Packing and shipment of order as per various SKUs.
• Drive improvement in efficient use of Men and Material.
• Minimize losses of packing materials during packing, loading and timely reporting on observed discrepancies.
• Work with administrative officer to implement company policies and goals.
• Daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation of packing material and warehouse stocks.
• Assignment of resources and duties to production staffs according to the production requirement and competencies of staff.
• Initiation and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Generation of timely production reports in coordination with production and warehouse team.
• Creation of contacts and follow ups with third party vendors and customer.
• Laise with Account officer in maintaining cost reports.
• Preparation of timesheet and payment schedule for labour and other employees.
• Improve accuracy, efficiency, and reducing costs.
• Assist in the preparation of scheduled reports.
• Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
• Order office and field supplies and research new deals and suppliers.
• Submit and reconcile expense reports.
• Provide general support to visitors.
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Any other responsibility assigned to him by the management staff.
• Work Remotely: No.

Qualifications

• Minimum of National Diploma in any discipline with 2 - 4 years relevant experience in similar role.

Competencies:
The ideal candidate must have/be:

• ND / HND / Degree in any relevant discipline.
• Experience working with Agro processing plant with roles in production and warehousing.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Sbility to work with little or no supervision.
• Critical thinking ability and be able to take initiatives as occasion demands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Honest, diligent, dedicated, and unassuming.
• Previous experience in seed processing and Warehousing.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
