Job Title: Site Supervisor

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Brief

• We’re seeking a highly organized, self-motivated professional for the role of a Site Supersvior with our Organization’s Abuja Office.

Responibilities

• The Janitorial Site Supervisoris responsible for overseeing the daily work activities of their janitorial teams as they deliver cleaning services in buildings, offices and other facilities. They train and supervise janitors on their teams to carry out orderly, safe, and efficient cleaning operation.
• Supervise & participate in daily, weekly and otherwise scheduled cleaning activities alongside other members of the Site Janitorial team in a given facility or location.
• Create Daily/Weekly Cleaning Schedules and checklists; maintain regularly scheduled cleaning program (i.e. floor care, deep & general cleaning etc.) and maintain a detailed checklist as agreed with the Site Manager for each Client’s needs.
• Assign janitorial duties to team members.
• Recommend appropriate staffing actions, such as hires, rotations, promotions, discipline & terminations to the Site Manager for appropriate attention & action.
• Provide coaching, training and guidance on janitorial procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment, consumables & tools.
• Assist Site Manager(s) with the hiring of new janitors.
• Regularly inspect janitors’ work performance, to ensure conformance to specifications and established quality standards.
• Monitor and enforce Company policies and quality standards as relates to physical appearance, attendance and behaviour in their janitorial teams.
• Assign, request, monitor and take inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and inform the Site Manager of any impromptu requests needed before the scheduled request date.
• Regularly inspect work tools & equipment for damage or defects, reporting same to the Site Manager for replacement, repair or other appropriate action.

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

• A good First Degree in Accounting, Business Administration / Business Managenent, Economcs, Statistics or any other relevant course.
• Minmum of 3 years related experience in a similar role.
• Analytical & Attentive.
• Detail-Oriented.
• Good Communication (Written & Verbal) Skills.
• Very high level of integrity.
• Good communication & Interpersonal Skills.
• Work experience in Facility Management/Janitoriaal Services Firm highly essential.
