Job Description

• Our client is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Operations Manager for their fashion. S/he will be responsible for leading, directing, and managing the day-to-day operations of the company.
• S/he will also be expected to provide an oversight of sales, employees, stock, facility, and monitor processes related to customer experience, recruitment, compliance, order fulfillment, compensation & benefits, staff training, and development, all within stipulated standard procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain and other resources to help minimize costs of production.
• Develop and manage productivity and continuously improve the production team’s capabilities
• Set goals and objectives and establish procedures and policies for various departments in the organization, based on overall company strategy and monitor progress
• Study business forecasts, sales reports and financial statements prepared by the Finance Officer and propose ways to maximize results.
• Manage the production team and ensure all deadlines are met.

Human Resources:

• Determine business needs, hire employees, oversee assignment of employees and planning staff development
• Prepare staff salary schedule
• Monitor employees’ Key Performance Indicators, conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback on performance as required.
• Identify training needs and suggest relevant training to upskill employees.
• Organize and maintain a filing system (online & offline) for important and confidential company documents and ensure documents are easily accessible.
• Help promote a positive company culture where the work can get done and morale is high
• Facilitate efficient communication between employees and departments.
• Resolve minor disputes or disagreements
• Develop and manage productivity and continuously improve the production team’s capabilities
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years experience in an operations position or a related field.
• Experience in a luxury fashion production environment is a plus.
• Experience in management and leadership is an added advantage.
• High level of professionalism.
• Ability to lead teams and projects from concept to completion.
