Job Description
Assists in maintaining of all office equipment and facilities; arrange for repairs when necessary. Make recommendations for new or additional office equipment as appropriate.
Assists in initiating planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment and preventive maintenance of facility equipment
Installs, moves, repairs, and removes equipment and utilities within the building.
Assists in the maintenance or repairs of office equipment and facilities; procurement of office equipment, asset management and shipping of procured company equipment.
Ensures strict adherence to company procedures on facilities management, asset management, and procurement activities.
Assists in property survey and Facilities; Facilities Inventories, Documentation and Records.
Communicates with vendors to interpret, clarify, inform and resolve maintenance issues.
Monitors vendors/contractors performance to ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
Maintains good relationships with vendors to provide the maximum utilization of their expertise, ideas, methods and material application in order to achieve maximum cost savings.
Review, proofread, and verify forms, invoices, requisitions and financial documents as necessary for accuracy in calculation and adherence to policies and procedures.
Safety and security-the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
Reduce Admin facility repairs and maintenance cost.
Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water, electrical and conditioning are well-maintained
Allocating and managing space between buildings
Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
Reduce power consumption expenses which includes generator and PHCN.
Increase facility repair and maintenance vendors with 5-star price and quality rating.
Ensure timely and error free execution of all planned vehicle cleaning and servicing task
Monitor all the works executed under service contracts;
On a weekly basis, inspect and maintain the exterior premises (grounds, building, and parking garage), including removal of debris;
Ensure timely and error free execution of all planned coordination, supervision and appraisal of drivers activities.
Ensure timely and error free execution of all planned facility repairs and maintenance, schedule and log system.
Ensure timely and error free execution of generator workability for business operations.
Ensure timely and error free furniture and fittings, office environment and company assets conditions for business operation and staff safety.
Ensure timely and error free power supply, and power conservation.
Ensure timely and error free plumbing repairs.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND, OND qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
