Financial Operations Analyst at Norrenberger Financial Group

Our component companies are licensed and regulated either by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) or the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) to provide Investment Banking, Fund Management, Financial Advisory and Stockbroking services to our discerning clientele.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Operations Analyst

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Explore relationships and bring in business leads that would lead to the consummation of business transactions ranging from Advisory to Funds management etc.
• Record nil income leakages (e.g. non charge of applicable charges, debit interests etc) during the period due to processing errors, service delivery issues, overpayment, or wrong payment recipient etc.
• Ensures all bank account reconciliation statement is done latest on the 5th working day of the preceding month and stored on Operations Folder.
• Manages the core application as it’s relates to inputs of customer's transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Ensures Sundry Creditors, Sundry debtors and cash advance ledgers are regularly reconciled to take out stale items.
• Same day TAT of transactions such as Opex and Capex processing, Roll over etc
• Responds to requests to implement on a timely basis all internal and external audit points together with any issues raised.
• Coordinates the collection of FX on all biddings as well as reconciliation of the internal ledger
• Ensure all transaction tickets are scanned and stored on Operation folder.
• Ensure quarterly commission payment are prepared and paid.

Profile of Our Preferred Candidate

• Should possess a B.Sc qualification with 2 - 4 years work experience.
• Strives for continuous learning, constantly learning new ways to solve current problems and seeking out new problems that need to be solved.
• Facilitates collaboration across the organization to achieve a common goal for the Group.
• Demonstrates commitment to self-development including enrolling for certificate courses, reading, etc.
• Exhibits willingness to take up additional responsibilities.
• Show the ability to analyze situations or problems, make timely and sound decision, construct plans and achieve optimal results.
