Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer

Location: Delta

Job Description

• The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) will responsible for overseeing and coordinating the hospital system’s nursing department and its daily operations in order to deliver clinical care consistent with international best practice.
• S/he is expected to be comfortable developing/implementing policies, standards and protocols, and creating a nursing environment that fosters collaboration with other health professionals.
• The CNO will also be responsible for ensuring that patient-care, clinical and staffing standards are met.
• As a key member of the hospital management team, the CNO will also advise the rest of the senior management on best practices in nursing and patient care, nurse recruitment, training, retention and establish performance improvement activities and assessments.
• The CNO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualification

• A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Additional Qualification will be an advantage.
• International/world class experience at an internationally accredited facility will be an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of (5) five years nursing experience, at least 3 years in a supervisory role
