Job Title: PHP Web Developer

Job Description

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing our ecommerce website.
• Develop and deploy new features to our existing platform.
• Implementation of responsive web design in HTML5, CSS, SCSS, PHP, JavaScript / jQuery and building restful JSON web services
• Write clean, well-designed code
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices
• Develop any other assigned company project from scratch to deployment.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND / OND in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Fullstack PHP Web Developer.
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
• Proficiency in PHP 8, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.
• Extensive experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
• Experience working with both Paystack and Flutterwave payment APIs.
• Understanding responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
• Experience and knowledge in Mobile App Development is considered a plus.
