The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) strengthens democracy around the globe through private enterprise and market-oriented reform. CIPE is one of the four core institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy and an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Since 1983, CIPE works with business leaders, policymakers, and civil society to build the institutions vital to a democratic society. CIPE’s key program areas include enterprise ecosystems, democratic governance, business advocacy, anti-corruption, business ethics & integrity, trade, women economic empowerment, and youth development.

Job Title: Front Desk Manager / Programme Associate
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Responsibilities
Administrative support:
Provides high standard and efficient support in all aspects ofthe team’s administrative needs.
Receives and handles clients /visitors, provides appropriate basic information to enquiries
Responds to questions about the organization and provide callers with basic Information
Maintains adequate security measures for the safety of the office environment
Maintains all communication files, letters and records following standard rules and procedures
Receive in-coming mails, sorts and dispatches out-going mails to the concerned recipients.
Monitor stock and order office supplies
Manages the day to day cleaning activities, Including supervising office attendants and cleaners.
Program Support:
Work with the program officer and other CIPE staff to coordinate in-country project management deliverables and activities
Compile weekly narrative reports on completed project activities and progress towards objectives.
Assist in writing, reviewing, editing and preparing periodic reports, project proposals, articles, and other documents for submission to donor agencies and for promotional use by CIPE.
Manage country office social media handles with relevant contents targeting multiple stakeholders, under the supervision of the program Officer
Update country Offices dbase of partners (BMOs, entrepreneurs, consultants, others using an online tool) Tracking news about CIPE/local partners and updating existing media files, Updated file should be submitted weekly.
Conduct country/region specific research on key topics as requested
Adhere to appropriate CIPE and NED policies and procedures. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields is required: International Relations, International Business, Economic Development, Finance, Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of administrative office and or programmatic experience required, preferably in supporting international development programs.
Excellent English composition, writing and reporting skills. Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive, detail-oriented tasks simultaneously with limited supervision
Flexibility to collaborate with a team or work independently and deliver consistent, reliable results,
Strong IT skills In MS Office, specifically MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Ability to rnultitask, prioritize, and manage time
Must be willing and able to travel domestically.
