We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chef

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Role Overview

• This role requires an experienced Chef who will be responsible for the preparation of delicious meals for clients. The applicant must be familiar with sanitation regulation and appealing plate presentation.
• Preparation of food in a timely manner is the foremost requirement.

In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to:

• Have proven experience as a Chef
• Cook food in a timely manner
• Preparation of well-cooked and delicious meals
• Slightly modify recipes to meet client needs and requests
• Monitor food stock and food orders
• Check freshness of food items
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Be Honest, respectful and of good character

Requirements
Successful applicants in this role will typically have:

• A certified Culinary School Diploma / Certification is an added advantage.
• Ability to remain calm while undertaking tasks
• Hands on experience with various kitchen equipment
• Communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• An excellent eye for detail and discrepancies
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong record keeping skills
• Ability to multitask
• Strong flexibility and adaptability skills
• Ability to be proactive and take the initiative
• Up to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
