We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Human Resources Officer
Location: Lagos
Your Role
As a Human Resource Officer, you are responsible for providing personnel services to departmental customers at optimal cost, time and quality in order to achieve customer satisfaction and departmental objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide operational HR services in line with policy guidelines to ensure employee satisfaction at optimal cost, time and quality.
Administer the formalities of salary increment, promotions, transfer, payroll processing, entitlements and other benefits to ensure correctness, timely processing and compliance with applicable laws & policies.
Implement HR policies & procedures to ensure a high standard of discipline, organisation and transactional justice across the company.
Maintain and update human resources system and personnel records to ensure confidentiality, safe-keeping, accuracy and reliability of information and records
Liaises with line managers to develop annual training plans tailored to employee and organisation need.
Respond to employee queries/enquiries on welfare/benefits.
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Provide input to the payroll process in terms of sick leave, absences, leave without pay to ensure that various deductions from employees’ salaries are reflected in the monthly payroll.
Prepare and submit reports on all HR activities and performance against set targets to the Head, Human Resources.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the HR Lead.
Experiences & Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor’s /HND in a relevant Social Science or Business degree.
Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in a Human Resources or Business Operations function.
Relevant professional certifications e.g. Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) or equivalents is an added advantage
