The company offers the following services: Cleaning / Maintenance of heat exchangers using our unique HEX equipment, which uses low pressured water instead of the conventional hydro-blasting method. This feat we have achieved at a leading Multinational Gas-To Liquid (EGTL) site, Refractory installation, inspection and maintenance services for furnaces, incinerators, boilers and refractory repairs. They have a highly qualified team made up of competent experts and nationals to meet the needs of clients' facilities, however unique they are and Inspection support services using the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technique to determine the assets integrity of our clients.
Develop a clear understanding of the company's service offerings to clients and potential customers.
Develop and execute account development strategies to ensure an increasing share of wallet and attractive return on sales
Develop account and project penetration strategies and action plans based on analysing and prioritising opportunities, determining the required resources, and understanding the decision-making and internal influencing dynamics
Responsible for securing specifications for targeted projects and /or company standards, ensuring that organisation innovation is the desired solution for critical applications
Negotiate, coordinate, and implement pricing agreements aimed at increasing share of wallet and improving overall account profitability
Develop and maintain appropriate contacts at all relevant levels to understand and secure the fulfilment of customer requirements
Develop standard formats for proposal documents and client documentation.
Develop new customers through company lead generation, cold calling, networking, and referrals; follow up appropriately to obtain appointments and meetings.
Establishes and maintains networking relationships with clients.
Travel to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell company services.
Identify target accounts and work with management to achieve goals.
Develop and implement differentiation strategies while identifying new growth opportunities for the company.
Prepares and submits activity reports and sales forecasts as requested.
Maintains client and prospective client information in the company's database.
Research prospective new clients in targeted markets, tenaciously pursue leads and follow through to a successful conclusion.
Understand the target market of Nigeria, including industry, company, project, company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
Maintain excellent relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the industry
Possess a strong understanding of industry procedures and new areas of opportunity, and understand the methodology of company positioning.
He or she will work diligently to develop a positive sales approach by building successful client relationships and maintaining excellent communication with potential new clients
Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors, locations of projects, pricing, etc.
Understand and optimise corporate assets and capabilities and effectively communicate those to current and potential customers.
He/She will possess extensive sales and service selling expertise within the oil and gas industry by building upon their strong network of relationships with key decision-makers in established oil and gas corporations
Provides direction, support, feedback and guidance to successfully plan and implement business development activities in conjunction with the line manager
Help define new project scope, goals and deliverables on an ongoing basis.
The Business Development Manager will maintain activity records, meet determined contact goals, and report to his/her line manager daily on the progress of identified goals.
You will support ongoing alignment with corporate strategy and demonstrate commitment to the organisation's goals
Requirements
Minimum of BSc. Degree in Marketing. Business Administration, Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Business Development Expert, sales experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical Production Companies or equivalent technical experience
Extensive industry connections with vendors and associates.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Excellent business ethics.
Positive, professional attitude.
Proficient in MS Office & Outlook and CRMs.
Have a proven record of developing and expanding business relationships.
Demonstrated leadership/management experience
Theoretical and practical knowledge of business development
