BT Health & Diagnostics Centre (PPC Limited) is a Diagnostic Centre operating as Public Private Partnership project providing Radiology, Pathology and Cardiology service in a Tertiary hospital in Lagos.

Job Title: IT Manager

Job Responsibilities
Create an IT roadmap and action plan for future growth.
Oversee and manage the ICT function of the diagnostic centre by ensuring that all its services are well planned for in order to support timely and quality service delivery.
Participate in and contribute to the overall strategic planning process for the Centre.
Define the centre’s digital strategy in order to drive innovation and ensure automation of patient facing and back office processes in line with the Centre’s strategy;
Demonstrate ownership of and communicate the ICT strategic direction and objectives to all staff and provide ICT advisory support to stakeholders to promote employee engagement and productivity;
Develop actionable work plans to ensure effective implementation of the department’s strategic objectives;
Create a process for generating and developing creative ideas to optimize BTHDC’s operations and improve patient experience through technology;
Research and ensure installation of new and improved systems.
Ensure management of the Centre’s IT infrastructure including planning, maintenance and sourcing in line with the needs;
Oversee administration of ICT applications across BTHDC operations and ensure ease of access and use of the applications in order to enhance service delivery;
Put in place information security systems and measures to ensure the Centre’s ICT environment is in line with industry standards;
Lead implementation of all IT projects to ensure innovations meet the Centre’s technology advancement and value for money;
Put in place vendor management processes and all IT related obligations to ensure the Centre’s needs are met;
Ensure efficient and effective user support for the systems in place in all departments;
Put in place disaster management and business continuity processes and infrastructure to ensure business continuity for the Centre’s operations;
Ensure implementation of approved quality management systems including ISO standards, among others to ensure full compliance of the ICT division;
Prepare the ICT annual budget and monitor its implementation upon approval to ensure cost containment and value for money;
Identify, deploy and motivate the ICT team including performance appraisal;
Review the adequacy and allocation of IT resources in terms of funding, personnel, equipment, and service levels.
identification of training needs, mentorship and coaching as well as leave and absence management in line with the Centre’s people agenda;
Regular review meetings with all the key stakeholders to update on IT actions.
Provide network design, installation, monitoring, management, and troubleshooting for WAN and LANs including main locations and remote sites.
Provide networking support to partner organizations.
Ensure setup and management of help desk support for staff within the facility.
Ensure equipment interface setup and maintenance.
Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance.
Provide network accounts and passwords as required.
Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate.
Providing User Training on various business applications and application software.
Qualification and Person Specification
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any other related field from a recognized institution.
Good organizational, time management, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good mathematical abilities and technical skills.
Professional ICT qualifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), CCNA or other equivalent and recognized qualifications.
Minimum of 6 years’ information technology experience including computer operations management, multiple roles in systems implementation, architecture, security/compliance, business-wide strategic planning responsibility with 2 years at management level.
