We are recruiting to fill the position below for a client:

Job Title: Brand Storyteller

Location: Marina, Lagos

Job Objective

• This role is responsible for redefining the Company’s brand messaging and positioning by crafting compelling narratives about its vision and mission; and the work it is doing to achieve its goals in a manner that conveys emotion and spurs solidarity amongst different audience segments.

Responsibilities

• Produce content for blog posts, social media, and email campaigns.
• Research, plan and execute content marketing campaigns.
• Work with designers and marketing specialists to develop captivating copy for different campaigns and always-on content.
• Utilize data and insights from the Company’s product managers to advise on viable content ideas and product improvement (esp. through user guides).
• Analyze trends, advise on and execute brand storytelling directions.
• Draft storyboards for video content and other visuals.

Person Specification
This role requires that the job holder:

• HND/BSc in any of the Social Sciences or related course of study
• 1-3 years’ experience as a writer or a writing related role.
• Must possess an excellent understanding of storytelling fundamentals, from character development to call-to-action.
• Must possess strong SEO knowledge.
• Must pay great attention to detail.
• Must have experience in a copywriting, editing, public relations or advertising position.
• Must have a very good understanding of digital media platforms, digital marketing concepts, best practices and digital media trends.
• Must be diplomatic, have strong judgment and team skills, be a strong collaborator and problem solver who can make decisions quickly.

Monthly Salary
NGN102,000 plus other benefits
