Job Title: Senior Shut Down Planner
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Scope & Objectives
Is responsible for planning and scheduling all Shut Down associated interventions
Is responsible for the organization and realization of the logistic operations from and to the site
Is responsible for the accommodation & POB overview during the Shutdown
Ensure that planning is integrated with integrated planning and works close together with the IPPI team
Ensures planning from all entities are in time and scope is updated in planning
Ensures Shut Down activities are performed efficiently, in compliance with CR, HSE standards, and Integrity policies.
Efficiently manage the interface with various stakeholders, during the preparation and execution phases, Location: 30% Onsite; 70% base
Activities
Conduct core Shut Down activities by supporting the Shut Down Manager through the following:
Material procurement
Resources mobilization
Cost follow-up
Updated planning
Regular liaisons with ALL department but also Project through regular meetings
Ensuring proper certifications/authorizations from proper authorities
Valuation of the estimated duration, and estimated costs
Valuation with other departments of estimated POB for Shut Down and follow up
Conduct core Planning activities through the following:
Collect the schedules from the different shutdown stakeholders (lifting, planned, shut-downs, ECP, MTC, vessel utilization) or Project and compilation for issuance of integrated SD planning.
Organize and participate in the regular scheduled review meetings to review planning and progress related issues
Identify critical paths, prepare trend analyses, and propose rescheduling/rearrangements
Track issues that can impact the scheduling (procurement, modification requests process, tugs/supply boat availability)
Prepare for future upgrades of the planning process such as the addition of financial data to the planning or interface with the Company.
Prepare the regular status Shut Down reports for SD Mgr. (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
Prepare the specific reports requested by SD Mgr. on various matters (Nigerian Content, Environmental discharges)
Assist in the preparation of any FO presentation as required (PowerPoint, Excel)
Accountabilities
Accountable for the optimization of the operational planning activities and highlight to management for
possible blocking points
Accountable for communicating with other entities to update planning and identify needed resources
Qualifications / Experience Required
Degree in Engineering, Management or a similar discipline
Good knowledge / Experience in Shut Down activities
10 - 15 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry, in Production, Operations, or Project Management
Excellent organization and communication skills
Excellent experience with Primavera planning software (all packages and versions) as a must and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Total métier technical rules and the international standards
