Job Description
Our client requires the services of a skilled Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM) to supervise, coach and development its team members in assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Functions:
Develop business development strategy focused on financial increase.
Drive growth through sales and forging relationships with clients.
Review market trends and propose business ideas to improve revenue generation.
Oversee and lead the business development team’s activities to ensure high productivity level
Outreaches:
Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
Researching the industry and potential clients to identify new opportunities.
Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones..
Develop retention strategies to maintain existing customer base
Bid Administration:
Oversee the development of quotes/bids and proposals for clients.
Identify opportunities for bid opportunities and prepare bids for submission.
Develop goals for the BD team and ensure they are met.
Key Business Relationships:
Manage, develop, and expand current client relationships.
Network within the industry to develop prospects and opportunities.
Participate in trade shows and conferences to market the company’s services.
Identify and manage relationships with key partners
Market Intelligence:
Participate in strategy planning, budgeting, and revenue target development.
Perform presentations to prospective clients describing company’s services.
Identify and map customer needs
Conduct market research to establish trends, competitor market penetration
Qualifications / Experience
B.Sc in Business related discipline with at least 10 years relevant experience in business development in environmental, oil and gas, or any relevant sectors i.e. manufacturing, banking.
Core Skills:

Strong grasp of Business Development (BD) is crucial with proven sales track record.
Possess good research and writing skills.
Familiarity with oil and gas sector and environmental technicalities/cleaning sector is an added advantage
