We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bursar

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

• The Bursar is Principal Officer and in accordance with University Law, the Head of Finance Department of the University.
• He/She is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.
• Applicant for this key management position must be candidate with vision, proven professional distinction, managerial ability, integrity and transparency in private and public life and able to provide the Management of the University with appropriate advice and support for all of the Institution's financial transaction.

Qualification

• Candidates must possess a University Degree in Accounting or related discipline as well as professional recognized accountancy qualification from any of the following bodies:
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
  • Institute of Chartered Accountant of England and Wales.
  • Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
• Applicant must also be computer literate and have a working knowledge of a good accounting package

Experience

• Candidates are required to have a minimum of Fifteen (15) years post graduation experience.
• Working experience in a University or comparable, institution will be an advantage.

Remuneration and Condition of Service

• The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable to the post of Bursar in Augustine University.
• The successful candidate shall hold office for (5) years in the first instance, renewable for a final term of Five years, subject to satisfactory performance evaluation.
