We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to spearhead the growth and expansion of our company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and driving revenue growth through innovative strategies and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs within the transport and IT sectors.
Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company's presence, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business prospects, cultivate relationships with potential clients, and negotiate contracts to secure new partnerships and projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to prospective clients, highlighting the company's services and value proposition.
Collaborate with internal teams including operations, marketing, and finance to ensure alignment in delivering client-focused solutions and meeting business objectives.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand awareness and foster strategic partnerships.
Identify opportunities to diversify services, enter new markets, or expand existing services to maximize business growth.
Track sales performance, analyze metrics, and prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of
Ensure all business development activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Communicate, liaise regularly and build constructive referral relationships with all key stakeholders internally and externally: Consultants, ministries, the corporate business development team, other professionals.
Identify innovative tactics, corresponding business plans and sustainable; operations to drive revenue and volume growth while meeting the market's needs;
Conduct marketing research and analyse activities to ensure that the company is competitive in the marketplace, on a local and national rating.
Make recommendations to Management on services that meet, predict and mirrors current clients’ future needs;
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree holder
Must be a goal getter
Effectively work with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Development Officer
Interested Candidates with relevant IT and social media experience are encouraged to apply.
