Job Title: Copy Writer / Content Curator

Location: Nigeria

Role Description

• This is a full-time remote role for a CopyWriter / Content Curator. The Copy Writer / Content Curator will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing original content for various marketing channels such as blogs, social media (Linkedin, Instagram and emails.
• The Content Writer/Curator will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is aligned with the company's objectives and brand voice.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation/Copy writing:

• Develop engaging and informative content for various platforms, including website, blog posts, social media [Linkedin, Instagram and Twitter], email campaigns, and more.
• Ensure that all content produced adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.

Content Curation:

• Stay updated on industry trends, news, and relevant topics to curate content that adds value to our audience.
• Identify and leverage third-party content, ensuring proper attribution and compliance with copyright laws.

Research:

• Conduct thorough research to gather information and insights for creating original content.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging topics to inform content strategy.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, design, and other cross-functional teams to align content with overall marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and depth in content creation.

Editing and Proofreading:

• Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to grammatical standards.
• Ensure that all content is error-free and meets quality standards before publication.

SEO Optimization:

• Implement basic SEO principles to optimize content for search engines and improve discoverability.

Analytics and Performance Monitoring:

• Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of content and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Stay informed about key performance indicators and use data to refine content approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a content writer or curator, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing styles and content types.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with content management systems and basic SEO principles.
• Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise content.
• Creativity and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends and emerging topics.
• Understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with travel industry is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with social media management and content scheduling tools.
• Basic graphic design skills for creating visually appealing content.
• Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and trends
• Experienced and result driving content writing skills for Linkedin and other social media platform is not negotiable.
