Job Title: House Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Description
You will have overall responsibility for ensuring that every area of the entire Villa is clean in addition to the under–listed responsibilities:

• You will have overall responsibility for the efficient running of the entire Housekeeping related duties of the Villa
• You will take full responsibility for the effective management of all domestic personnel at the Villa
• The management of domestic staff by you would be by providing clear direction and guidelines to support their daily operations.
• You will undertake and supervise laundry activities by ensuring linens and all other wares and clothing are in good condition and neatly returned to respective closets.
• Proper monitoring of the deep cleaning of Bedrooms, Living Areas, Toilets, and Bathrooms daily.
• vi. You will ensure that all Villa facilities are functioning effectively at all times. This you would achieve by daily checks and applying proactive measures in fixing any facility that requires technical attention.
• Regular checks on all electrical appliances like bulbs and other equipment in and outside of the Villa. Arrange for the replacement of such items immediately.
• Daily supervision of Staff chalets, security, and drivers lounge for regular cleaning and general maintenance.
• You will be required to maintain active communication in bringing up issues for immediate rectifying action.
• You shall be responsible for overseeing and improving the cleaning implementation of the Housekeeping team. The aim here is to put the Villa in perfect sparkling clean condition so a lot of grooming will be required to be done by you to ensure that every part of the Villa is in excellent condition;
• You shall be required to bring into bear your expertise in the area of Housekeeping activities to make the Villa into a Haven.
• You will be expected to develop and implement procedures and control systems to ensure good hygiene and quality standards at all times for the Villa
• You will ensure high-quality guest experience and satisfaction.
• You will be responsible for setting standards of practice for the Housekeeping team and the implementation of same;
• Other responsibilities and schedule of duties will be handed over to you upon your resumption.
• The House Manager would be part of the household. It is expected that he has a fair knowledge of handling daily domestic operations and can respond to issues promptly.
• The House Manager would relate with the Chairman, he would be required to exhibit the ability to anticipate the Chairman’s expectations for all items. The candidate must be smart and agile to move around with and have a hands-on approach to all operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 5 - 10 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a House Manager in Villas or in High Profile individual
• Experience in managing cooks, waiters, drivers all domestic staff
• Hands-on knowledge as a Food and Beverages manager
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
