Job Title: Community Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilites

• Build and maintain relationships with community members, journalists, and industry experts.
• Organize and oversee community events, including meetups, open houses, and networking events, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Create engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and other communication channels to keep the community informed and involved
• Manage and engage online communities and forums.
• Set and implement social media campaigns to align with marketing strategy.
• Manage the company’s WhatsApp, discord, telegram, and other social media platforms for improving community engagement.
• Act as the brand ambassador, representing the brand in various settings and ensuring consistent brand messaging.
• Monitor and respond to feedback from the community, addressing concerns and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaise with product development to stay up-to-date with new product development.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, local businesses, and other potential partners to expand the community reach.
• Stay updated on industry trends, local market dynamics, and customer preferences to inform community-related strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align community initiatives with overall marketing goals.
• Analyze community engagement metrics and provide reports on the effectiveness of community management strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, customer happiness team, marketing, creatives, and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent brand message around customers concerns and feedback.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven 2+ years experience in community management, social media, public relations or related customer-facing roles preferably in the real estate sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative community engagement initiatives.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and community management tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret community metrics and derive actionable insights.
• Passion for community building, exceptional interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
