Job Description
Dr. Amey Stella Adadevoh (DRASA) Health Trust seeks a Project Manager tprovide technical assistance and support tDRASA’s projects.
The Project Manager will assist project staff with the oversight, structures and tools required for smooth implementation.
This position will utilize technical, operational, and project management competencies in public health.
Specific Responsibilities
Support the design, planning and implementation of projects and activities
Oversee Program Managers and project teams
Coordinate internal and external resources for project execution
Lead the development of key documents during the project lifecycle including proposals, project charter, budgets, work plans and trackers
Measure project performance and assess risks using appropriate tools and techniques Review and update project progress daily ensure completion is on schedule and within budget Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Provide comprehensive day-to-day operational support tprojects
Ensure quality, efficiency and timeliness in project implementation
Provide guidance timprove the organization's project management capabilities and align our practices with industry standards
Prepare presentations treport progress on multiple projects, current bottlenecks and resolution planning.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Public Health or Health-related field and 5 - 7 years of related work experience in public health project management and coordination
Relevant experience with project planning and implementation at the community, state, and/or national level working with public sector and NGOs
Strong project management experience including planning, initiating, and delivering initiatives within agreed time frames
Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
Experience in developing platforms for internal project management processes
Proven ability tprepare and deliver accurate and impactful presentations and deliverables ttechnical and general audiences
Ability tinitiate, foster, interact, and maintain relationships with teams and diverse groups Experience leading and coaching project team members tstrengthen their abilities and skill sets
Ability thandle multiple work streams simultaneously and work independently and proactively manage the implementation of complex projects
Excellent written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Highly entrepreneurial with strong self-motivation
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite/Workspace (cloud) tools
