To plan, organize, coordinate, and control of all manufacturing processes for all divisions of the business and also tender adequate reports promptly.
Key Accountabilities
Strategy & Budgets:
To implement and maintain the company operations strategy , to deliver the customer service objectives and to work cross functionally with the commercial business
Develop sysytems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards , metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
Production Planning & Organising:
Plan , organize , direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
Organize workflows to meet specifications and deadlines and implement methodology to measure due date delivery performance
Evaluate production schedules to plan team structures and development
Oversee the pre-production meeting to Implement strategies to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
Develop and maintain production metrics for quality , delivery and safety
Team Management:
Build strong rapport with the production team through open communication, promote a positive, safe , productive and efficient work environment
Continually analyse, identify and set expectations to motivate team members to achieve objectives and goals
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that items/ product produced by the production team always meet quality standards
Monitor products standards at various levels of production and at the point of release so that cost of rework is reduced /eliminated
Process Improvement:
Review and recommend appropriate measures to control and minimise waste level
Review production practices and equipment: make proposal for improvement to ensure that they are maximally effective
Encourage a culture that strives for growth, continuous improvement and self-development
Customer Management:
Work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery to the customer
Oversee site installation
Organizational Relationships:
Directly Reports to: FOM, HR and MD
Work Directly with: Design, Production, Procurement, Warehouse & Logistics head, and Design Installation.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Good First Degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Finance or relevant discipline
Possession of a higher degree(s), such as an M.Sc, MBA, PMP is desirable
Minimum of fifteen (8) years’ relevant experience with at least seven (3) years in senior managerial capacity in a similar role, preferably in a multinational FMCG environment
Strong strategic orientation, interpersonal
Strong operational orientation
Collate and report activities of insattion team and tender same accordingly.
Visitation to sites
Update on project progress to FOM for management meetings
Make recommendations.
Key Competency Requirements:
Micro Economic and industry knowledge
Good understanding of market research and analysis
Strategic and creative thinking. Project Management skills; strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; able to think methodically and analytically
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
