We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Alimosho, Lagos

Job Description
Delivery Operations:

• Receive and prioritize delivery orders from the dispatcher or supervisor.
• Safely and promptly deliver packages, documents, or goods to designated locations.
• Follow established routes and utilize navigation tools to optimize delivery times.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct routine checks on the assigned motorcycle or vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance issues or malfunctions promptly to the supervisor.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including recipient signatures and delivery times.
• Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as waybills or receipts, is completed and submitted as required.

Communication:

• Maintain clear and effective communication with the dispatcher, providing updates on delivery status and any challenges faced during the delivery process.

Customer Service:

• Interact professionally with clients and customers, ensuring a positive and courteous experience during deliveries.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly, escalating complex problems to the supervisor when necessary.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
• Wear appropriate safety gear, including a helmet and reflective clothing, at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid motorcycle license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a dispatch rider or in a similar delivery role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple delivery tasks efficiently.
• Physical fitness and stamina for long hours of riding.

Salary
N60,000 / month.
