We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)

Responsibilities

• Monitoring financial transactions.
• Payroll duties
• Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.
• Watching the cash flow, chasing and collecting late payments and reporting bad debts
• Handling wage and salary calculations, as well as employee payouts and payments.
• Ensure proper stock taking of food and drinks.
• Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods.
• Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management
• Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning.
• Reconciling bank statements
• Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT and PAYE
• Preparation of daily sales analysis
• Collation and filing of monthly tax returns
• Report directly to the Head of Accounts and Finance

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 2-3 years experience.

Salary
N150,000 / Month
