Chanja Datti is Abuja’s home of waste recycling and leader in Nigeria’s green-revolution. At Chanja Datti we are committed to transforming waste to value! With an increasing demand to rid our environment of non-biodegradable waste materials, we have made a commitment to making Abuja (and by extension Northern Nigeria) safer and cleaner one-recyclable-at-a-time, as we primarily focus on Plastic (PET bottles, pure water sachet, nylon bags etc.) and other waste streams such as Aluminium cans, Paper (old newspapers, old textbooks, corrugated cardboard, carton etc.), Glass bottles and Tires.

Job Title: Marketer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our team as Marketers. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting Recykoin and introducing our green business program to individuals and businesses situated around our hubs.
• You will play a crucial role in expanding our user base and fostering engagement with our recycling platform

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with businesses and individuals to promote Recykoin, our green business program and explain its benefits.
• Educate individuals and businesses about the advantages of joining our green business program.
• Encourage individuals and businesses to sign up for Recykoin and the green business program.
• Distribute promotional materials and answer any questions related to Recykoin and the green business program.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for engagement.
• Collect feedback to improve marketing initiatives and user experience.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with plaza patrons.
• Report on daily activities and provide updates on progress to the management team.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 1 year experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Prior experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Enthusiasm for promoting environmental sustainability and recycling initiatives.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
• Access to transportation to travel between plazas and company hubs.
