Job Title: Auditor

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Description

• We are currently seeking an Auditor to ensure the integrity of our financial operations and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
• As an Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating financial records, assessing internal controls, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of financial statements, accounts, and internal processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial records and investigate root causes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports documenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with department heads and management to implement audit recommendations and improve financial processes.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and best practices in auditing.
• Perform ad-hoc audits and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Auditor or similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws is a plus.

Salary
N200,000 / month.
