Job Title: Hotel Sales Executive

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Officer to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, along with the necessary educational qualifications.
  • This opportunity provides an exciting chance to contribute to a dynamic organization that values excellence, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers, and other potential markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and presentations, effectively communicating the unique value proposition of our hotel.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives, social media promotions, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand professional networks and generate new leads.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with industry news, market trends, and customer preferences to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Officer in the hotel and hospitality industry.
  • Relevant educational qualifications in hotel management, business administration, or a related field are preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the hotel industry.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound knowledge of sales and marketing principles, techniques, and strategies in the hotel industry.
  • Proficiency in usingExcel, CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong self-motivation and initiative.
  • Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
