Job Summary

• In this unique dual role, you will play a critical role in securing partnerships and resources that fuel our programs and initiatives while overseeing, planning, and implementing those programs to maximize their impact on our vibrant community of members.
• Ultimately, you should have strength in project coordination and delegation, and be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Proposal and Grant Writing:

• Research and identify partnership opportunities aligned with Ventures Park's strategic goals and programmatic needs.
• Develop clear, concise, and persuasive proposals highlighting Ventures Park's expertise and the mutual benefits of collaboration.
• Tailor proposals to specific partner requirements, ensuring alignment with their priorities and objectives.
• Manage all aspects of the proposal process, including adhering to deadlines, budgets, and formatting specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure proposals accurately reflect Ventures Park's capabilities.
• Track proposal progress and report on results to leadership.
• Develop clear, concise, and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate Ventures Park's impact and value proposition.
• Manage all aspects of the grant application process, including deadlines, budgets, and required documentation.

Programme Planning, Management and Implementation:

• Review and ensure alignment of program priorities, strategies, and plans. appraising options and submitting for approval.
• Prepare the program brief, project initiation documents, or equivalent business case among other documents.
• Support the Management Team to lead the development of both strategic and operational plans per Ventures Park planning guidelines.
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of programs and make data-driven improvements.

Program Reviews, Monitoring & Evaluation, Program Learning and Reporting:

• Closely monitor how programs work to ensure alignment and contribution to Ventures Park’s strategy, monitor the flow of information, and systemic documentation of qualitative and quantitative achievements and lessons learned.
• Establish mechanisms for capturing and documenting knowledge generated through program activities, including best practices, challenges, and innovations.
• Coordinate quality and timely submission of periodic program and project performance reports as per desired standards and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with approved program and project plans.
• Represent the organisation or unit in various program-related knowledge-sharing and learning forums, document and share feedback with the team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Proposal and Grant writing is required.
• Previous experience in Program/Project Management.
• Experience in budget preparation; resource allocation, expenditure tracking, monitoring evaluation, and reporting.
• Experience in engaging program partners, and stakeholders and strengthening partnerships.
• Experience in capacity building- developing and facilitating training.
• Experience in using project management tools.
• Experience in the enterprise support ecosystem will be a strong advantage.
