Job Title: Technical Assistant to the CTO

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time

Description 
As the Technical Assistant to the CTO, your job responsibilities include the following:

• Administrative Support: The EA coordinates and provides high-quality administrative support to the CTO. This includes managing schedules, prioritizing emails, and handling phone calls.
• Document Analysis: The EA may analyze documents related to technical projects, reports, or proposals. They ensure accuracy and clarity before presenting them to the CTO.
• Research Reports: Preparing research reports is another aspect of their role. They gather relevant information, analyze data, and create concise reports for the CTO’s review.
• Supervision: Occasionally, the EA may supervise staff members, especially when it comes to administrative tasks related to technical projects.
• Technical Familiarity: While not necessarily experts in technology, EAs to the CTO should have a basic understanding of technical concepts and terminology.
• Project Coordination: They assist in coordinating technical projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and facilitating communication among team members.
• Vendor Selection and Implementation: The EA actively participates in selecting vendors, evaluating products, and implementing technical systems and infrastructure.
• Leadership Skills: Strong project management capabilities and excellent leadership skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and their applications in the financial sector.
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• A passion for innovation and the potential of blockchain technology to transform Africa's financial landscape.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for blockchain and digital assets.
• Experience with coding languages commonly used in blockchain development (e.g., Solidity, Hyperledger Fabric).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Technical field (or equivalent experience). 
• Experience working in the fintech or blockchain industry.
