Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Supervisor to join our team in the hotel and hospitality industry.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a 5-star hotel environment, along with the necessary educational qualifications.
The Hotel Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services, to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, and profitability, while maintaining cost control and budget management.
Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff, ensuring effective communication, training, and development to achieve high levels of performance and guest satisfaction.
Maintain a strong presence in the hotel, interacting with guests, handling complaints, and ensuring prompt resolution of issues to exceed guest expectations.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hotel management systems, including POS (Point of Sale), PMS (Property Management System), KEYCARD, BOOKING ENGINE, and other relevant software.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities, packages, and campaigns to drive occupancy and revenue.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, as well as brand standards and quality assurance requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities and guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to brand standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, providing recommendations for improvements and cost-saving measures.
Requirements
A minimum of 7 years of experience in a managerial role within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
Relevant educational qualifications in hotel management, business administration, or a related field.
Proven knowledge and experience in working with a range of hotel management systems, including POS, PMS, KEYCARD, BOOKING ENGINE, and other software.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
Sound financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle and resolve guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations within the hotel and hospitality industry.
