Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, managing a large staff force, and ensuring the highest level of customer service is maintained at all times.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to streamline operations, drive revenue, and uphold the reputation of the cafeas a premier dining destination.
Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Oversee all day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, inventory management, and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment for all staff and customers.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of servers, waiters, kitchen staff, and support personnel.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of employee morale and productivity.
Foster a positive work culture and promote teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Customer Service:
Lead by example and set the standard for exceptional customer service.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity.
Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience and build strong customer relationships.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the restaurant budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profit optimization.
Monitor financial performance metrics and implement strategies to increase profitability and revenue growth.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or service standards.
Leadership and Communication:
Act as a strong and effective leader, inspiring and motivating staff to achieve their goals and objectives.
Communicate effectively with the CEO, providing regular updates on restaurant performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to command respect and inspire confidence among staff members.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think quickly on their feet.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management software.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
