Novella Africa Limited - Our client, a CBN licensed Microfinance bank in Nigeria, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cost Management Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Sharing Finance values and principles
• Maniac in getting things done, meeting deadlines, able to deliver
• Can support deep cooperation within Finance, especially with budgeting and reporting teams
• Good at mentoring of subordinates
• Can predict bottlenecks, proactively solving issues
• Clearly demonstrates and possesses ownership of cost management

Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:

• Well-experienced in financial analysis, product pricing
• Well-experienced in product profitability analysis
• Excellent modelling skills, demonstrating best practices
• Good knowledge of Cost and Profit centers
• Excellent understanding of unit economy
• Excellent knowledge of financial analysis, financial ratios
• Good knowledge of IFRS is welcome
• Good knowledge of consumer finance and retail lending and associated revenues and costs
• Experienced with foreign companies in Nigeria or abroad

Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Deep cooperation with stakeholders, good stakeholder management skills
• Excellent MS Office knowledge
• Good knowledge of Mambu is an advantage
• Good level of SQL and/or Redshift
• Variance analysis.
